God making contact?

OK, so imagine God makes himself known to humankind...

Question: If God opened a channel of communication with just one nation state, which government department would manage it, which department would handle divine affairs?

I doubt that it would be a public affair, like the ascension was

God is not a foreign power

He is not a domestic faction

Nobody voted for him

Yet he is very influential and his opinions well known...

or are they???

If God made himself known government would have to have a response

What would that response be?

Sure: Presidents, Monarchs, Prime Ministers would all have stuff to say on the matter, but what would they actually do?

Surely the UN would have to be informed?

The issue is: would he deal with just one nation or the whole of the international community?

(I believe the former)

I believe it would somehow result in global unity

But how would it play out? What exactly would happen?

I think it would be a huge event, the biggest event in living memory

I think it would depend on to what extent such a revelation was public or private occasion - for instance, it could be done in private: quiet and deniable, within the confines of the mental health system. Or it could be public, a glorious spectacle for all to behold!

But I think it will be a low-key affair - I think that is what governments would want and that God would go along with this as he doesn't want to destabilise the world or undermine its governments.

In Short, I think it would be hushed up, but that an open channel of communication would be established, between (the chosen) government and God.

The corporate logo of the British Government - "Her Majesty's Government"

I think the UK would be a prime candidate for God to make contact with as it has a Monarch who is supposedly appointed by God and also has an established church - the Church of England.

And I think that any one person who had a direct channel of communication to God would most likely be involved with the Mental Health system, which could easily liaise with "the secret state" to manage and support such a person.

And of course, any one person claiming a direct channel of communication between themselves and God would most likely end up in the care of the mental health system!

But I think they would share all this with friendly nations and eventually make a presentation to the United Nations.

But what does RF think?

I do think the Second Coming will be something unexpected but really shared.
If some heads of State will be chosen as messengers, well...I would say...probably.

G-d is no respecter of men and their conventions....foolishness it gets depicted as in the texts...so why imagine such frivolous conjecture?

I believe that The Second Coming will be a huge, public event

But I believe that before it happens channels of communication would be made open between God and the Earthly authorities - which I think will happen mostly in secret

A cardinal goes up to the pope all excited and says "I have some good news and I have some bad news!".

The Pope asks "What's the good news?"

"Jesus has just called and he's back!"

"What's the bad news?"

"He's calling from Salt Lake City."
