If god(s) exist are they a verb noun, gerund, or just simply a noun?

The word “god” is a noun.

It doesn’t make any difference whether the thing the word refers to actually exists or not. The word ”god” is a noun, the word “hobbit” is a noun and the word “chicken” is a noun.

The English language is ridiculously complex and messed up in all sorts of ways but it’s still much easier than theology.

i'm guessing that a culture from 2000+ years ago and attempting to explain life and/or nature wouldn't necessarily use the same language, metaphors, or expressions normal to our own.

even the olde english vs modern would be in conflict in attempting to understand one another. look how easy it is to have issue between two native speakers in discussing an idea vs the logoi being used to convey that singular idea.

I suppose it could be used as a verb much like 'quarterback' is used to mean to take control of something.

"Let me quarterback this wedding reception."

Could be rephrased as:

"Let me God this wedding reception."
