Thought I'd make a whole new thread of it. Something about this assurance on the comment about god's greatness got me hesitating.

Your atheist friend is deluded and self-entitled. Ask him what did he do to deserve such a right as to demand the greatest conceivable being to communicate to him in the way in which he most prefers?

I thought Trump was the greatest. Everybody says so. The best people say so. So, if that's true, then how can god be the greatest? I can't find any science on the subject.

God is by his very nature the greatest conceivable being. That's just what the word means as far as the proponents of Anselm's perfect being theology (myself included) are concerned.

It seems to me that an entity that can't speak, or that won't speak,
could be the `greatest` of anything. Can `God` speak at all ?
Wouldn't `God` have the loudest voice of all entities in the Cosmos ?
Some people think that `God` whispers in their ears, and when they're asleep.
Some people think that `God` has the greatest throne in the heavens !
Some people think that `God` is really much greater than the Cosmos !
oh well....maybe He has the loudest trumpet of all the other trumpets !
