It can be just as harmful as violent pornography.

Right. Because if one form of pornography may be slightly harmful to a young child's developing brain (especially without parental supervision), ALL sexuality should be carefully hidden from people until they're 18.

THAT makes a whole lot of sense...

I am more concerned about keeping corporate advertising disguised as kids webpages away from my 9 year old.

Anyone come up with a blocker for that yet?

Good point! I don't think I'd support that kind of blocker, either, but sooner that over a religion one.

We could always blindfold our children and put plugs in their ears so that they can be protected everywhere there are things you don't want them to know about. That way I can protect my children from anti-religion prejudice and you can protect your children from any prejudice you experience. ;):D:D:D

We could just keep our children bound and gagged, locked in a dark room until they reach the age of reason. How about that?

GodBlock would allow my kids to enjoy 2 Girls One Cup but prevent them from learnng who the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet is. Thanks, GodBlock! :D

The phrase “Oh God, Oh God” springs to mind. But perhaps that is just me.

And what about gay porn that mocks Christianity? What would GodBlock do with that?

Obviously it would block that as well. A program that blocks out religious terms does make distinctions about how those religious terms are used, they will be blocked regardless of if they are use to promote religion, criticize religion, or mock religion.

Such a problem would have to be an AI.

Ok what's your issue? Someone brings up porn and you need to bash gays...?

Further more it seems it would be for someone who is not religious, oh and if you don't like it you don't have to use it.....

I mean atheistic, non-religious alternative doctrines which will be proclaimed as the truth. And as that will be taught as the only option/truth, what place is there for an alternative view?

I'm not aware of atheism being taught in schools. Not teaching religion, doesn't mean that some other philosophy is being taught, btw.
