God's Purpose?

Why must there be a purpose to our existence? Are we this important?
Look at the universe, we are a piece a cosmic speck of dust.

Anthropocentricism is not a very good way to look at the world considering nothing is reliant on our existence.

Hi Sterling,

Existence is the purpose, it needs no justification.

I don't know of anyone that hasn't sought the answers to, "Why do we exist? What is our purpose?'

For those that come up with the idea that we are here to serve god, I ask you now: What is god's purpose?'

If his entire existence is based on the sole purpose of creating man, He must be asking himself what he did in a previous life to deserve this job.

Whether you belief god was created, or that he has always existed, what do you think his purpose for existing is?

I don't "understand" God - I don't suppose any mortal can comprehend the idea of God; to answer all your questions, is, IMO, impossible.

Hey, now. The species of bacteria that reside in the species Homo sapiens would disagree with you here. Your body is a veritable world with many, many bacterial ecosystems. We're talking trillions of little lives here. :D

Get me off of this planet
I don't understand why so many people demean Mankind, we're nothing, a cosmic speck of dust, we're
****. Many people are ****, but we are a conscious, sentient and able. My only resentment is I will
not be able to be in the space Vikings...

Woe, Woe, Woe... I will not be here for space Viking.... Utter despair.

Relentlessly Rational
The problem is, it assumes there is a purpose without demonstrating that there is. Just because you want there to be a purpose doesn't mean that you're right, this is just more silly assumptions based on emotion, not fact.

This is Modern Deism 101. We exist because we can, we see God as nothing else more but a creator of EVERYTHING.
So if it can exist, then it must exist. My view of god has always been like an entity without free will who only performs actions out of fixed necessity

Hmmmm, are we not responsible for the destruction of forests, animal life, and our own kind?

Any good we are given is immediately overcome by a lengthy lists of evils :D

The Bible actually hinted a lot. Christians are told that He has an so-called Ultimate Plan, though they may not be able to tell you what this plan is.

God's primary purpose is to built an eternity called His Kingdom in Heaven. Only those you are ultimately choose to be with God are allowed to enter this realm. Those who will ultimately choose to be with sin are not allowed to enter. Because if sin is allowed to enter Heaven, then it's no longer a heaven.

He showed through Adam that those lack faith, those disobedient will not be able survive this eternity. They will finally fall as Adam did. Only those with strong faith in God and willing to obey God's Law will be able to successful live this eternity.

That's why all the covenants ever since are ultimately about Faith and Law. They are used as a measure of human faith and obedience to qualify who can enter God's realm under a well witnessed process.

On the other hand, God knows in advance that who will qualify. Planet earth is thus just a stage for this whole process to be well witnessed by both the angels and the selected humans. In this stage, everyone will finally show his true nature whether he has faith or not, whether he's obedient or not.

The Bible god's purpose seems to be to play an unimaginably sadistic power and control game with purposefully inferior and helpless creatures. If there were cosmic police, he'd have to be put on trial and executed for all his crimes against creations.

Why do we exist ?
Of course, to get our purpose completed.

What's Our purpose ?
Our purpose is to experience the whole world, Until wholeheartedly we get tired of the whole world that we can see all around us.

What's God purpose ?
God's purpose is, instantly to make us one with "Him"(oneness), When wholeheartedly we get tired of the whole world that we can see all around us.

Regarding all this, if you have any more question than please read the lines below.

-As one is near to the end of purpose, true interest in God automatically starts beginning.
-There's no need to create any interest in God before this, because such an interest is not an interest, its just an acting, indeed. True interest automatically appears after getting tired (as said above).
- One cannot fool God, with the acting of being getting tired, or with the acting of being interested in God.

Any question ? :)
