You're honoring numbers "invented" by men, and not God himself.
These are my thoughts on the matter exactly. It is all relative. If I wanted to, I could make some measurement in a unit called goobidads (I obviously made that up) and starting reference points of X and Y that pinpoint
my house as some divine "0.61" place, because I can make those numbers do whatever I want them to in that imaginary context.
One could, I suppose, try and make the argument that God (supposedly) knows all from beginning to end, and so would have known the globally recognized reference points that would be chosen, and the most common forms of measurement accepted and used. But, as has already been said, God would be above such measurement systems. He (supposedly) created the entire universe, for goodness sake... he wouldn't be measuring his handiwork in inches, centimeters, or any man-made contrivance. That idea is just as ridiculous as it is arbitrary.
