I've Got a Jack Russel Terrier named Tinkie (Tinky). Shes White with small black spots everywhere, and about 6 months old. She goes into a spaz whenever somone rings the door. she wont stop barking for [Her record is 4 hours straight, if you dont say hi to her, she just keeps going]. Besides that shes small and cute.

I've got a kitty called Feuvert, grey with black fur and a cute white nose. I can make her go crazy at times when I attack her in her basket and then reverse the basket. She then proceeds to crawl under it and act like an insane turtle that strikes out with claws when my hand goes near :D . She once ran around the living room for 15 minutes while keeping the basket on top of her.

I've got:

An 7 month old (and 130lbs) English Mastiff named Adonis.
A white, grey and slightly beige medium-haired cat named Isis.
A short-haired white and orange cat named Fudge Darling
A Medium-haired black and white cat named Jack
and a short-haired tiger-striped tabby named Sally.
I've also got a male Ball Python named Salazar and a female Carpet Python named Belladonna.
My roomate has a stupid hamster named Spike that just might get fed to Belladonna one of these days if he doesn't stop rolling in his stupid wheel all night long and keeping me awake.

I had a collie/samoyed cross named Zang that died last week and a tortoiseshell cat named Osiris that died a few months ago.

Pictures of most of my cats and dogs can be found in my gallery.

Just one? haha...my husband probably wishes we had just one pet. :bonk:

We have 4 cats: K-9, Felix (or Pheliques), Cassiopeia, and Vache (a.k.a. Vachefolle or "Mad Cow").

We have several ducks of no particular name and a few hens, though due to ridiculous county ordinances we are forced to keep them at the local elementary school. That's fine -- the kids really enjoy them, and they get real fun out of eating the green eggs one of the hens lays.

We used to have a ton of other pets as well:

Veiled chameleon (Guy Lizardo)
Cockatiel (Pikachu)
Tons of fish
Snakes
Turtles
Goose (Honk Honk)
Gecko
Guinea pigs (Tribble, Chequers)
Rabbits

I tried to time having all of these pets so by the time their natural lifespan was up, the kids would be out of the house and we wouldn't get stuck with a zoo. It's worked out pretty well, as we're down to cats and the poultry, which is all I want.

I have no idea what I'd do without pets around the house. Who would I talk to when I'm cleaning up things?

i'm sorry to hear that. it can't be easy.

princess has developed arthrisis in her back legs, and the day will probably come when we're gonna have to end her life to relieve her suffering. the problem is knowing when - while you don't want to keep a dog alive for your own sake, you don't wanna be too rash about it either. as it is now it's painful for her to run or walk a lot, but otherwise she's still the same dog and she can still have fun and experience things fully. but her problem seems to have gotten worse over the past month, and i find it very hard to know exactly what to do and when to do it. it's not an easy desicion.

she's been in the family for 11 years, and is in many ways very much one of my best friends. i don't know if that sound strange to people who don't have animals, but it's true.

Maize,

That's an interesting name for you cat. Around here, the word Yayo has a different meaning, I'm wondering if you're familiar with that alternate meaning?

No I don't know, my son made it up when he was 18 months old. He named her when we adopted her. What does it mean?

It doesn't sound strange to me, at all!

That can be an incredibly hard decision, believe me, I've had to go through it before and it's not a pleasureable one, but sometimes it's a decision that has to be made, if it's in the best interest of the dog. My advice, if you'd like to hear it, would be to talk to a vet and see what your options are. Perhaps there are medications that may ease Princess' pain.

Hehehe, ok, I just thought I'd ask. Yayo is also a slang term for Cocaine.

she's on medication, but apparently you can only medicate her so much. but that's good advice, we're planning on seeing a vet soon enough.
