Well Murtadd I hope you don't think the US is blameless in killing off it's disabled. Have you ever looked into some of the policies insurance companies have toward the disabled in the US? Two of your major organs have to shut down before they'll give you a feeding tube.

I don't buy that. There is much debate about resource allocation & its unfairness,
but to say that rises to the level of "killing off it's [sic] disabled" is hyperbole.

I've been to China & people are even forced\ to abort babies that aren't fully Chinese.I know a Chinese American girl who was married to a guy from Africa and went back to China to visit her family. She was pregnant and went into labor when she was in Beijing and she was denied medical treatment at the hospital. She was taken away from the hospital by police armed by AK-47's and forced to give birth in a jail cell. The cops then took her baby away from her and suffocated him with a plastic bag. The couple is still in jail and probably in a labor camp despite both holding American passports.

I don't see why a disabled child shouldn't be allowed to be terminated if such a mother chooses to do so, but forced anything is pretty bad. Though, here in America, we an individual-sanctioned 'murder' (hah) of the disabled. %90 of handicapped children are aborted here.

In severe cases abortion might be more merciful route.

No arguments here, which is why I see no problem with having public services for anyone who wishes to abort their abled child for all I care. Only the one taking the burden can fairly judge if they should or should not carry that burden.
