Gravitationalists!!

Atreyu,
There is no such thing as the theory of gravity. Gravity is a fact!!!
We can stand on both the earth and the moon. On the moon there is much less gravity because the moon is much smaller and has about one sixth the gravity of the earth. No one actually floats on the moon, but because a person weighs only about 0ne sixth of his weight on earth a person can jump much higher.
Actually there is a theory of gravity... just as gravity is a fact. The fact is about what happens, the theory is why. Just like evolution is a fact and a theory.

I don't believe in gravity. It's a stupid theory. It doesn't even make sense. How could a planet pull things toward it when the planet is just made of dirt and stuff. Here's an experiment: Get a big hand-ful of dirt, and put it on a sidewalk. Then put a rock an inch away from it. Does the dirt pull the rock toward it? HA! NO, it doesn't!! Theory disproven.

Take that, gravitationalists!!
You were standing to close to the rock. Set up a camera and walk 1/2 mile away. That should work.

Another screw-ball theory.
Hey, that is an idea! Gravity is actually an illustion created by tons of screw-balls that fall down all the time because there is a big screw-ball magnet under the Earth! We are not pulled down to the Earth, we are beated down by invisible screw-balls! I am a genius!

Actually god is holding you down on the earth until the rapture when he will let go of those who he wants and will meet us in the air.

Don't be absurd. There's not magnets and nickels inside of the world. Who put the magnets and nickels in there? And why did they do that? And if there are magnets, and gravity is real, does that mean that people have magnets in them too? Then why don't I stick to the refrigerator?
OMG! That is the funniest thing I've read in weeks! Dude! You are hilarious!

I was walking to a friend's house one day and I saw the largest woman I have ever seen in my life. Her thighs were at least 35" each. Her husband, a total rail of a man whose waist must have been 26" was walking next to her and pushing a stroller.

I got to my friend's house and told him what I had seen.

"You know why that is, don't you?" he said.

"No"

"It's because her husband can't break the gravitational pull. If he could, he'd get a divorce."

Well, there's no arguing with that kind of reasoning.

In your FACE anti-gravitationalists!

I'm pretty sure it was The Dispossessed by Le Guin got me thinking about time as the opposite of gravity. Maybe all matter "remembers" the Big Bang, as all people "remember" god. More matter, more memory, more gravity. We don't actually know what gravity is, but we know what it acts like - constant acceleration. Maybe special relativity isn't special after all. Theoretically, it would take an infinite amount of energy to accelerate to c; and if one should somehow cover that infinity, one would encounter to zeroing of time. With equivalence, infinite gravity equals zero time. Of course, we really don't know what time is, neither; nor even if it actually exists.

Nope, everything that leaves the sides of the Earth gets vaporised by God.

Seriously, though, I once heard that the Flat Earth Society actually believes there is no such thing as gravity... but do NOT take my word for it, I have only heard it.

It's true they don't believe in gravity. They believe that the 'disc' is travelling upwards.

Just had to share....

From http://www.religiousforums.com/foru...erved-speciation-post1836690.html#post1836690

Evidence against the theory of gravity:

1. Gravity theory suggests that things i.e. planets have been moved in orderly orbits which wholly contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

2. Smoke, and other observed things that ascend disprove gravity. There is no observed ''law of attraction'' between different masses.

3. Gravity has never been observed, and can not be measured. This is something Issac Newton himself admitted. Newton knew that no mathematician of his day would approve his theory, so he invented a whole new branch of mathematics, called ''fluxions'', just to “prove” his theory. Nothing he ever wrote has ever been observed, and his calculations have always remained under ''fringe-maths'', while gravity itself is still pseodu-science, as it can not be measured, tested or observed.

4. Modern astronomers who believe in the theory of gravity, tell us that the moon rotates on its axis but at the same time always presents the same face to the earth. This is obviously absurd.

5. Isaac Newton rejected his own theory. He wrote: ''I suspect that my theories may all depend upon a force for which philosophers have searched all of nature in vain.'' He believed gravity could not be proven by the scientific method, could not be observed, and only relied on his own form of pseudo-science to pass off his theory as fact.

Millions of people worldwide don't believe in gravity, including myself. Looking on the net will reveal many websites. You are mistaken if you think everyone believes in gravity, and that it has been proven. Gravity like evolution are just theories.

I don’t believe in gravity, and the Bible rejects gravity.

Jesus walked on water...defying gravity.

When He got better at it...He disappeared into the clouds!!!!!!

Scientists themselves admit they don't understand gravity. With no clear understanding or explanation of why Australians don't fall into space, we're left with only one feasible explanation. It is a work of God.

QED.
