Wassup..! I am Didi. I am a energy healing neophyte. And I have come to release that Energy healing is a form of faith healing. I currently don't have a faith. I guess I could have faith in myself... but I thoroughly lack in that department. I have come to this forum in hopes I can find where I "fit". I am naturally a spiritual person, an atheist is not something I can be. The spiritual disconnect I felt from trying to ignore what I naturally feel is excruciating. I KNOW there is something bigger then me. What I don't know is if its a man, woman, one person or multiple people, or even if it is a person... Sigh. Well that is me... kind of... Thanks for reading it. And wish me luck. :)

Welcome aboard.

Maybe, in time, you will inspect this spot on my neck.

Does it seem funny looking to you? :)

Hello there. Welcome :). What is faith healing? How do you become one? Sorry to burden you with so many questions at your arrival.

Welcome aboard :D

Hey, I like your name :)

Too much spirituality is tiring sometimes, so strong faith is needed to hang on. Trust me, I'm fasting now.

Best of luck finding what you are looking for :)

I am not Hindu, however to me you sound like a Hindu in the making. Certain Hindu sects seem to be all about bodily energy. Personally I don't know what to make of all of that stuff. Weird things happen occasionally, and I think we just have to accept that sometimes the weird things are just going to be unexplained. As a wise person once said to me "There are two kinds of phenomena: things that can be explained and things that cannot be explained," which explains most things succinctly.

@s2a I am unsure as to whether you are being serious, or friendly, or if you making fun of me. :( But I am going to go with the second one. :) And I would gladly do so.

@Draupadi Faith healing. Is healing by faith..:p It may seem a bit redundant but that is the best way I can explain it. There are so many healer out in the world who are legit but there gifts can not be explained by science. A lot of these people say there gifts of healing are god given. Given to them by faith. So faith healing. I hop I explained it ok. I would be better equipped at explaining energy healing.

@Smart_Guy Thank you. And I am a bit embarrassed... Didi isn't my real name. It's Damali. But a lot of people call me Didi so I sometimes mix the two names up. So I guess I go bye both.. :) I wish you luck in your fasting. I tried fasting... lasted about 6 days then gave in for pizza. Wasn't a very good idea.

@Brickjectivity Thank you for responding. I have never considered Hinduism in my search but I will add to my ever growing list. :) I really like the quote. I might have to borrow that from you. :D

I wish. :) I am a neophyte with good reason. Still training and I have much more to learn. But I believe in time I will start my own practice and I will have that "celebrity healer" status soon enough.

Just making fun actually, but offered in the best spirit of a welcome just the same. Post well and often, :)

You're welcome :D

Hey, that's a cool name too :) New to me, and I always find new names cool.
Names are just names anyways. Who we are at heart is what matters :)

Yeah, fasting requires strong commitment and spirituality to be done the right way. Even those who fast the time period at full, still get cranky and hurt their fasting with it, tho not break it completely. I mean, no food, water, freedom of perversion for like 15 hours? Just imagine the amount of spirituality needed for that :D

OMG, you just said pizza... I love pizza (GULP) :sorry1:
