It's mine! 
Thank you, @Revoltingest and @Rival, for posting birthday wishes in another thread. I decided to start this one, however, to mark this particular birthday of mine because of how eventful the last year has been for me. I have lost close friends, made new ones, come back in my academic life after a significant failure, and learned a lot of lessons on the way. All of those difficulties have made me appreciate the people who are still in my life and the value of persevering more than before.
A relatively minor example of the former fact is that today, I have only gotten a few birthday wishes from people who know me in person, but they--especially the one from a certain close friend--mean so much to me that they have made my day regardless of the number.
Happy Birthday, me! And I hope everyone else is having a nice day, too, even if they don't have this awesome birthdate I do.
