Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet pbuh)

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Prophet Muhammad was the most generous of all people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan.

Prophet Muhammad was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds).[/FONT][FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]”[/FONT]

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.[/FONT][FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]”[/FONT]

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to strive more in worship during Ramadan than he strove in any other time of the year; and he would devote himself more (in the worship of Allah) in the last ten nights of Ramadan than he did in earlier part of the month.[/FONT][FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]”[/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The five (daily) prayers, and from one Friday prayer to the next, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are expiation for sins committed in between provided one stays away from the major sins.[/FONT][FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]”[/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"No human ever filled a vessel worse than the stomach.

Sufficient for any son of Adam are some morsels to keep his back straight. But if it must be, then one third for his food, one third for his drink and one third for his breath."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"Whosoever visits an ailing person or a brother of his to seek the Pleasure of Allah, an announcer (angel) calls out: `May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you be awarded a dignified position in Jannah (Paradise)"

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Get to know Allah in prosperity and He will know you in adversity. [/FONT]

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Know that what has passed you by was not going to befall you; and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. [/FONT]

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship.”[/FONT]

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“[/FONT][FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Every act of the humanity is for themselves, except fasting. It is for Me, and I shall reward it.

That is because they abstain from food, drink and carnal desires for My sake.”[/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“By Allah, I am not afraid that you will be poor, but I fear that worldly wealth will be bestowed upon you as it was bestowed upon those who lived before you. [/FONT]

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]So you will compete among yourselves for it, as they competed for it, and it will destroy you as it destroyed them."[/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Indeed, Allah is Shy and Beneficent.

He is Shy when His servant raises his hands to Him to return them empty, disappointed! "[/FONT]

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. [/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]“Whatever befalls a Muslim of exhaustion, illness, worry, grief, nuisance or trouble, even though it may be no more than a prick of a thorn, earns him forgiveness by Allah of some of his sins.”[/FONT]
