Yup, and I have it on video.
You are right. Just a little rain and Western Rajasthan gets flooded. This is what happened last year in Jodhpur inner city. That is my city. Situated around a hill with roads leading down. Don't blame the old city planners. Excess water was supposed to flow away this way only and this happened only once in few years. So there was no need for elaborate drainage systems.

Sorry to be off-topic, but I thought music was forbidden in Islam?
It's controversial really. Some believe it is forbidden some believe it is allowed. But generally speaking, being a Muslim has different piety levels. No matter what the real answer is, Muslims would still be Muslims listening to music, no problem.

Thanks for the response. I was genuinely confused; I've heard quite a few muslims say it was haram, so I thought I'd ask. :)

It could be haram indeed, but it would not be a big deal as a sin and there are no textual punishments or counter measures against it that I know of.

Yup, and I have it on video. Here:

Look at all those terrorists driving cars!

That was on my way back home from work yesterday. A ~70km long highway and the rain took place only in the highway. Nothing in the two cities. Lucky me.

How rare is rain there SG?

Yes. Some kinds of people can learn from this instead of enjoying their twisted attitude around here :p.

Traffic took it very well. It was on the highway only. Some were scared and stopped sideways. Some managed to find spots under some bridges.

Yeah, that was crazy! I wanted to record all the trip but couldn't and only managed to get that minutes driving in the slowest lane with ALL my senses having an adrenaline rush :D

I don't normal do that really :)

It is such a fun for children. It is going to be a very hot summer for India. The temperature has already touched 43 C. at some places. People have died in Telangana.

We get +45C here in summer easily. It's a usual sight to see that on my car's outside temp. reader. In some past special cases, we had up to 50C.

We rarely touch that high (and only in some parts of India).

India 50.6 °C (123.1 °F) Alwar, Rajasthan 10 May 1956 (Highest recorded in India - Wikipedia)
(That is close, 157 Km south-west of Delhi)
