Hello, I came across this site after doing research online.

Catholic by birth, Buddhist by definition.

I am married to a Japanese woman and we have a 3 month old daughter together.

I was wondering if this site shows any particular bias? For example, are the people here predominantly Christian? I am looking for friendly debate with people from all faiths, not to talk with people from one faith about others' beliefs etc etc.

I have a lot to say, some of it insightful, some probably utter rubbish so I ask for your patience.

Welcome to RF! Always nice to have another point of view here. Don't worry if you think some of your posts might be less than profound - if you keep an open mind, everyone will be willing to help you learn a few things about religion.

As for diversity, there are more than a few people from various Christian denominations here (it makes sense because it is quite a predominant faith in the English world), but you can also talk to Islamists, Buddhists, Hindus, Satanists, pantheists, agnostics, atheists, and many other religions, too.

Hajimema****e, youkoso. :)
Welcome to RF! There isn't any bias that I'm aware. I enjoy it here a lot. As long as you keep an open mind you'll be fine (and I get good vibes off you, so I'm sure you will be :)). Have fun, and happy posting!

Tibetan, I met his Holiness in Japan and got his autograph. However, I prefer the term "eclectic" as my beliefs come from many different sources.
No problem, I was just curious.

I practice a Japanese tradition/school, and I wondered if you might also (as a Japaholic, so to speak).
