I've noticed this as well of late, but haven't so far been inclined to do anything productive in which to counter it. Sometimes people want to talk about something else. You could introduce your own topics on the subject of religion, you know.

Nevertheless, I wish you well and will miss your contributions.

I feel you, I feel the same thing! I came here because it is the 'Religious Forums'. And when there is a good thread on a religious topic, it gets so mean that it does not make anyone with a religious belief want to participate. I would think the moderators would try to keep it under control.

But, anyway I hope you stay. You were the first person to post on my profile page when I first started here. And because of that I followed you and have ever since. I really didn't know what that was supposed to do, and still don't, as it doesn't seem to do anything, but I clicked on it as I thought you are a friendly person.

I will leave you with a song of my feelings on this. It is to much on the romantic side for this, but I really like the song and feel parts of it fits here, as I do wish 'you would stay' and the forum will be a more empty place without you.

I definitely understand your brief reasons for departure. Considering that the religious/spiritual aspect of certain subject categories are rather defunct, it is thus uninteresting to say the least. Aside from Sakeenah, you probably had the best description of my ever growing spiritual belief. Considering 99.99999% of the people thought my religious/spiritual convictions were that of being an adherent of Islam, you thought of me as a "Hanif." Although my progression towards back to a more unique form of monotheism is slowly growing, I appreciate your inquisitive mind on trying to get an understanding of my beliefs. For whatever its worth, you've helped me grow as a person here and in that you have my infinite thanks and wherever you are on this planet understand you've helped other human being grow.
