This might be odd, but i really want to know. What is the difference between Christmas and the New Year?

They both supposed to refer to Jesus's birth? two different dates?

Oh come on, now you're saying Dec 25th is GOD'S birthday!!?
Hi!

Sounds crazy does it not? Let me explain my statement. Dec. 25th is the day I celebrate God's birthday, although it may not be his actual birthdate. The reason I say GOD's birthday is because of this:

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Mathew 1:23

I believe Luke told the story quite beautifully. He just didn't mention the date.

I didn't mean the story of his birth, I meant the time, season, period, etc of his birth.

And there we have it, yet another interpretation of a line in the Bible.

Your friend?
Whaaat? I'm not allowed to have friends, lol? Oh right, I keep forgetting that he is supposed to be "dead", whatever that means, exactly.

How old are you? ha ha ha :D
Hehe. Look, The "Truth", I know you are Muslim, but just work with it. If you want a lovely answer about my "true" age ask Kathryn (aka Katzpur). She can bring you up to speed, perhaps.

Not your average Mormon

You seem to be having quite a hard time asking a simple question, kadzbiz. I don't know why the exact date of Jesus' birth is not mentioned in the Bible. Is this information important to you? If so, why?

Not really important to me, that's why I can't be bothered with this anymore.

NO! It is not an INTERPRETATION of a line in the Bible it is the actual verse:

ACTUAL VERSE, NOTHING ADDED READS:

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Mathew 1:23

The day we celebrate Christ birth is the 25 Dec.
This is the day of the celebration on most church calendars.
As Kathryn said the actual day is if no importance as it will never be known.

The 25th is important because so many Christians come together to celebrate in faith and gratitude that day.

My sincere apologies Mr. Peanut. I have misunderstood the quote. I retract my comment.

Hi!
Thank-you. And forgive me as well if it seemed I was "shouting", just trying to emphasize it was actually in the verse. Frubals to you for your humbleness.
Cheers!
