Bodhisattva in Recovery
Thanks everybody. It was a great day. We had a very light dusting of snow throughout the day and that always makes a frost giant happy.
Aside from that I did my usual shtick of feeding the deer. Precious arrived with a young male from last year for apple in the morning and Walter, a very old, huge deer, came for a dinner of potato and asparagus ends in the evening. Walter is very wary, so it is always a treat when he comes by. I figure he weighs in at about 170 lbs.
Played some hands of bridge in the afternoon and then BBQ's some awesome Strip Loin steaks out in the freezing cold for dinner. (I marinated them in a combo of pepper, garlic, sherry and Teriyaki sauce for about 5 hours.) They were fricken magnificent, with baked potato, Brussels sprouts and the asparagus tips Walter didn't get, topped off with blue cheese dressing.
No cake, then again, I don't like cake. I did settle for a nice Kahlua and coffee after dinner tho.
