Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Ok , so I am a creature of habit. Every Halloween I watch the movie adaptation of the Steven King novel, 'The Shining'. Of course, the novel was much better.

Best actor, IMHO, is

Of course, Jack Nicholson was amazing.

Your favorite 'scary movie?'
I'm retro.

I like the old classes with Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney, and Christopher Lee.

Plus I loved Kolchak the Night Stalker with Darrin McGavin.

Love the old movies too. And Night Stalker! What a fantastic series, some good, creepy episodes.
I'm glad there are still people around who really enjoyed those days. I used to have posters of the Mummy, Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman!

And even one with the Creature from the Black Lagoon that glowed in the dark!

Great time to be a kid in those days.

If I can get my old VCR hooked up to my smart TV, I hope to rewatch my collection of "The Mummy." Most are VHS.

I did read the novel for the movie that scared me more than any other, though long ago...
The Sentinel. Plus I read the sequel that I found even scarier: The Guardian.

Spooky and horror isn't my genre, but this one is an often overlooked masterpiece and I like it:
