As a gay man, there has been considerably more malignant factors in society previously for men like me, but I do not feel such factors are in play today, so it should be far less so for lesbians. So, why the special day? What does it do? What does it achieve? Does it really acknowledge anything other than a shallow 'have a good day ladies'? It's meaningless.
