Have You Ever Wondered How You'll Die?

I'm seeing you clubbed to death with croquet mallets by an infuriated Volunteer Fire Brigade Women's Auxiliary. Seems more plausible.
Do you realize how deeply insulting and hurtful that is. Have you no shame?

For some reason I think I am gonna die suddenly in a pretty stupid way. Like falling in a manhole while walking on the street, or being trampled over by a bicycle ( not even a car ), or hitting my head really hard on a doorway. Whatever it is, I think it is going to be a lame way to die. If there is an afterlife I know I am going to facepalm myself over it.

I shall die in one of two manner.....accident or....some disease will kick my *** until I can't take it anymore.

The same is true for the rest of you.

That said, I have on previous and unusual 'accidents', learned what it is to be blind.
I also know what it 'feels' like to have limbs completely unresponsive.

Not much imagination is needed to fill in the loss of smell and taste.
Every one knows what silence is like.

and death shall come and take all....all at once.
All I have ever come to know and love will be lost to me.

There will be a tunnel of light....an illusion....as the peripheral portion of your vision goes first.
There will be a ringing in your ears as your hearing shuts down.
Ask not for whom the bell tolls....It tolls for thee.
Then a silence like no other you have ever known.

Your arms and legs will chill, as blood is reserved for your heart and breath.
Then your chest will heave as your heart burns for more air.

There will be only one desire waiting.
You will desire to stand up.
You might be willing to sell your soul for that strength.

Don't.

You will stand up anyway.
and heaven will come to see what came of the dust.

so I believe.
