Lets see, I have launched a full pack of 12 bottle rockets simultaneously from my hand, launched every rocket up to the 12 oz rockets out of my hand, I make it a habbit to hold fountains while thier going off, I have even held the mortar shell (the little balls that are launched from a thick tube) tube in my hand while the fuse was burning. That was some really strong recoil.
