Around 10% of the population has evolved to be without the Palmaris Longus muscles in their forearms!

Wisdom teeth are another aspect of evolution. More and more people never develop wisdom teeth. Nature has seen fit that modern humans no longer need them, based on diet.

I have both the muscle and the wisdom teeth. But then again, I'm Australian. Populate a country with convicts, and lack of evolution is a predictable consequence.

I see the opposite of a ridge. Nothing raises, but a small divot forms in my wrists.
As for my wisdom teeth, they were slow to come in, but I had enough room in my gums for them, so there was never any need or reason to cut them out.
