I was looking at the amount of calories i was getting a day and to my supprise it was quite alot higher then the recomended dosage 4700 instead of 2500 so now im trying to alter what i eat (no diet just cutting back a bit) but i have no idee what good dishes or good drinks are.

So my qeustions are:

What is a good breakfast?
What is a good lunch?
What are good dinners?
And what beverages are good?
Any good recipies?

just eat once or twice a day. do not have meal before your previous meal was completely digested which means if you did not go out for WC and if you eat again, your body would stop process of first digestion to start the second one.

some time ago i sent all informaition i had about what food is good/bad for each blood type. i suggest you to check that out.

i can't say skip breakfast or lunch. it really depends on what you eat in breakfast. in our teachings, the best thing to do is 'not eating until you are really hungry'. that would be around noon. another important thing is, when you eat, don't make your stomach full, leave table when you still feel little hunger. eating fruits and salad, drinking water and having one main meal around noon would be fine.

Portion control. I found out I was eating more than I thought I was because my portions were bigger than they should have been. One serving of meat is the size of a deck of cards, one serving of carbs is the size of a fist (or a cup), the size of a serving of fat is one teaspoon, about the size of your thumbnail.
I learned this from a nutritionist.

if you are used to eating whatever you crave, then it will feel like a 'diet' at first when you change your eating habits. gradually it will feel better and you will prefer healthier food.

i think worst thing is pop (US translation: soda hahaha) pure sugar and empty calories. i drink a lot of herbal and green tea in colder months, water in warmer months.

just all the boring regular advice: unlimited vegetables, variety of fruit, complex carbohydrates (try to cut out refined flour and sugar) fish, monounsaturated oils, blah blah blah ;)

and most important: eat mindfully, with every bite your full attention. you might notice the point where your hunger gets satiated, and continuing to eat feels excessive. there are so many reasons why we eat, hunger is usually down at the bottom. boredom, social contexts, and being upset can cue people to eat. when you go for a snack ask yourself what is the real motivation? is it really hunger? same thing halfway through a large meal.

If I'm being extra healthy, I'll have a bowl of porridge for breakfast (keeps you full for a long while), which means I don't really need to eat till lunch

For lunch I'll have a sandwich with maybe ham, and green leafy things, perhaps tomato, (don't need dressing, btw) and whatever else I feel might taste good on a dark grainy bread (more fibre)

I'll drink either water or juice during the day

And dinner is generally what finds it's way out of the fridge/pantry and gets mixed up in a pot. Lots of veges, generally on rice and chicken.

I don't normally do snacks, but I really like apples and golden kiwifruit, maybe an orange or something. Basically fruit is good.

You mainly need to eat portions that are proportionate to your activity level. I use to be able to as much of anything I wanted, and since I worked out religiously, I wouldn't gain a pound, even though it was nothing for me to eat 2 or 3 full pizzas and guzzle several cans of Monster a day.
Generally, watching how much you eat is just as effective, if not more, than watching what you eat.
For snacks and drinks, there are plenty of low calorie water flavorings (such as crystal light), and even ones with caffeine in them now so you don't need a soda to get caffeine. There are also alot of very tasty meal replacement/diet bars that are actually fairly filling, but the quest for a good tasting one can be difficult.

If you really want to cut back on how much you eat, there are also drinks and supplement pills that are appetite suppressants. A word of caution though, many of these suppressants can, and often do, have similar effects of speed. Eating in general will not sound appealing, you can loose many hours of sleep (this effect is not as intense as a speed drug, but is noticeable), and if you have any heart or blood pressure conditions, they can end up doing some harm. And severe nausea and/or vomiting can occur if you have exceeded your bodies tolerance by even a small amount.

Whatever you have, it should be balanced- Balanced Diet. Just don't have too much of junk food. That is where you increase your calories, for instance in beer, chips, pizza, burger--try to reduce these and don't forget- exercise well. There is nothing as best recipies, whatever suits you and whatever you can digest is the best for you.
