heaven and life begins at conception

Many times here I have seen quote like 'life begins at conception'. 'Life is a test'. 'Babies go to heaven'

So it seems like there must be more in heaven that never took the test here on earth. Why do we have to take the test? Seem like heaven could be as full as God wanted without the downside of separation

I must be missing something. But what?.

Well to describe heaven according to the Quraan I can quote many many many verses. Here are some.

Sahih International
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous

"And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient. Reclining on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). The shade will be close upon them, and bunches of fruit will hang low within their reach. Vessels of silver and cups of crystal will be passed around amongst them, crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure of them according to their wishes. They will be given a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabeel, and a fountain called Salsabeel. Around them will (serve) boys of perpetual youth. If you see them, you would think they are scattered pearls. When you look there (in Paradise) you will see a delight (that can not be imagined), and a Great Dominion. Their garments will be of fine green silk and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink." [76:12-21]

I am not sure that I understood the other questions though.

Hope that answers some of what you were trying to adress.

I believe in reincarnation so even heaven is not a permanent state. You keep evolving until you realize we are all One.

The souls of the babies you talked about are not finished with their advancement.

I'm curious as to how an afterlife would solve the mysterious problem of miscarriages, abortions, infanticide, etc.

It seems these children are in many ways lucky they haven't had to be tried by the many sufferings that plague humankind if they are, in fact, received into another reality after death.

I guess I should have put this in a Christian thread. Reincarnation would put the fetus back to the test.

I have seen many posters equate a fetus with a baby and babies going to heaven. That would make them a large majority in heaven. Doesn't make sense to me

Me too. Those babies are no more likely to go to heaven than any other person. Maybe less likely than some.

Hmmm... I think you misunderstood me. I was saying the babies and us all go to a temporary heaven (astral plane) for a time before reincarnation.

Plus if we take that to a logical conclusion - for God people.

God created a body that naturally aborts up to half of all fertilized eggs.

Hmmm!

Do you babies have a soul at conception? Do you believe babies that die before age of accountability go to heaven?

Gordian Knot

Being Deviant IS My Art.
Don't mean this to sound unkind; there is no proof beyond faith that anybody has a soul - whether or not babies do must surely be left to personal opinion?
