Heaven immediate after death? Or after the second coming?

When you stated that you were Catholic, it made this statement a little clearer;

"let us pray so that our brethren may be resurrected into the kingdom of heaven."

If you are going to pray for anyone to get to Heaven, do it before they pass away. If a person does not have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before death, they probably aren't going up. Jesus is the only way. Purgatory isn't in the Bible.

As you get more through the Bible you will find that on the last day, Jesus will
resurrect those individuals that the Father has given Him. John chapter 6.

In my Father's house are many mansions...I go to prepare a place for you...that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 102:3)

Our Father which art in heaven...
(from Mathew 6:9)

Who (Jesus) is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God. (1 Peter 3:22a)

Friends, I believe from these and many other verses that Jesus is in Heaven and we who have trusted alone in Him will be too, the moment we are raptured or die. So let not your hearts be troubled and comfort one another with these words!
