Unconditional love is heaven? bliss? nirvana?

Since love is a condition of the mind, I don't believe in the reality of unconditional love.
It is just a myth folks talk themselves into believing.
Something has to trigger the feeling of love even though you might be able to convince yourself otherwise.

being unconscious of one's own self love isn't uncommon.

love isn't something that only flows outward. not all love is based on outward appearances or attachments to some illusion of otherness

Unconditional love is love without strings.
and why would self want to put strings on other as self. love is like an invisible yoke that turns the power of two or more into a force of ONE. what love has joined together let no one tear asunder?

It's not uncommon for a person to be unaware of what is causing them to feel love as well. Unaware of the conditions involved.
Easy then to mistake the love that one is feeling as unconditional.

Certainly love can come from an internal source. If that is what you mean by unconditional love is that you can feel love regardless of external circumstances.

no one said unconditional love is something one doesn't have to work at; especially in the illusion of differences or separateness

Internally sourced love? Sure most I don't think have any conscious will attached to it.
Although love is not the only thing. I think it is fine to accept we don't exist in a continual state of love. There are other emotions we experience is life and there is nothing wrong with that. For example sometime anger is the appropriate emotion to feel.

Emotions are part of who we are even though we can learn some limited control over them.

Unconditional love refers to a type of love that is not dependent on any conditions or expectations. It is a pure and selfless form of affection that transcends any flaws or shortcomings. This profound love is characterized by an unwavering commitment to acceptance, understanding, and support, regardless of the circumstances or actions of the recipient.

Unlike conditional love, which may be contingent upon certain behaviors, achievements, or reciprocation, unconditional love remains constant and steadfast. It encompasses a deep sense of empathy, compassion, and forgiveness, allowing individuals to love wholeheartedly without judgment or reservation.

Unconditional love is often seen in familial relationships, particularly between parents and their children. Parents love their offspring unconditionally, regardless of their successes or failures, faults or virtues. This unwavering love provides a sense of security and belonging, nurturing the emotional development and well-being of the child.
