Question Everything
OK - what is heaven?

For me - a place of love - devotion, adoration, reverence, tenderness, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, grace, service, gratitude, kindness – love.

loves thy neighbor, as thyself (love and respect of self too)

Heaven on Earth? Here and now?
Matthew 6:9 - 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

I think the closer we get to learning how to love, the closer we get to heaven.

I have never thought of Heaven as possibly being here on Earth but what you just said really struck something with me, but could this *edit* hole really be Heaven? Could this be it?! With all the wars, diseases, pain, terrorists, evil people and ultimately dying? Heaven for me is for ETERNITY. And here on Earth certainly isn't eternal.
For my own faiths sake I refuse to believe that this is it, this is what I have been waiting for the big fat HEAVEN but what you suggested is a very interesting theory that has DEFINITELY got me thinking.
