Hello! I am just posting this to say hello to the respective religious community that this forum represents. (Wow, that sounded a little cold... let me start over) I am a Christian who has many formed opinions and seeks communion with others in a quest to find the path. I lead a life that many might find boring and redundant but I can live this life because I feel that it is correct for me. I am very technical to some, in that I try to break down situations to there core dynamics in an attempt to find the truth and the solutions for these situations. I have found it to be a rather large task to do this so I am here to find others in this faith and to help others as best I can with my knowledge. I have found that patience is the best virtue for a human to have since true progress is indeed a very slow process. I have my own demons that I fight with constantly day to day and I seek asylum from them under my personal Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. I believe that if you give Jesus your patience and heart he will make you strong in your faith and reveal the true path to salvation. A lot of my views make me unpopular to the collective view of mainstream America (Where I live) and because of this I find myself in situations where points of view seem to clash and this causes friction. I have spent a rather large part of my life seeking wisdom and meditating on what is right and what is the path.... ergo my formed opinions. I think that these opinions are a true benefit to those who will listen since I have spent such a large time forming them and I feel it is only my duty to offer these opinions so I am here to do that. I have helped many people in the past with some of life's little quarks and I hope to be of true benefit to those in this forum where I can.

Thanks for your time,

Tyler

Welcome Tyler. I am new to this forum also. In the short time I have been here, I have read a lot of opinions that have actually helped me form some opinions on issues I have never really thought of. Have fun.

Hello and welcome! We're glad to have you here!

If I may ask, do you have any hobbies? What are your favorite movies, if you have any?

Please also feel free to check out our guide for our newer members! (Though some of it is still being updated, I'm afraid.) Also, please know that you can be comfortable asking questions at any time!

Namaste!

I have many hobbies. I like to play tournament level Table Tennis (This is my main hobby right now) I used to play tournament level tennis and golf. Unfortunately I have ripped my rotorcuff and can no longer play tennis... but golf and table tennis are not affected because they are much less demanding on my shoulder. I stopped playing golf lately due to lack of money to pursue this hobby. I love to walk a round however when I get a chance... I find it a great time to think and reflect on things as I play. All of these sports I have put a lot of time and energy in to... but to be honest I play them for the fun more than some kind of competitive lust. I like to go play and work on my game and make sure that I am doing things correctly. The good shots are what bring me back :) Table Tennis is a very fun sport and I recommend it to anybody who wants a fun game that they can stay in shape playing and play until they are a golden age. I think that is very important since many sports lack the ability to be played after one's "prime". I am now just getting back in to table tennis since I have not had a sport that I could play and stay in shape since I ripped my shoulder up. I plan to keep playing until I'm back in shape and to continue playing to keep me in shape. I find that the game helps me to not focus so much on the pain of trying to stay in shape so it can be used to take the "edge" off a hard work out.

Computers are also a big hobby for me right now. I think working on computers can translate in to keeping my problem solving skills sharp besides being a lot of fun to work with. (But not always so much fun, hehe)

I try to stay as "well rounded" as possible although I do admit at 31 I'm getting a little rusty at some things!

I do not really know what my favorate movies would be. But the idea of a Matrix is interesting to me right now since I'm in to computers. I'll tell you this much... if there was a Matrix the only person i want controlling it would be God!!! I think it could be a great thing in the hands of the wise and a terrible weapon in the hands of the psychotic.
