I am looking or civil and honest discussion(s) about what a substantial and ongoing relationship with God is and means. How do we have one, how do we keep it healthy, and how do we explain and share that relationship with others. Also what stops one from having such relationship.

I spent over 30 years of my life pursuing this and have done over 10 years missionary work. I do not mind speaking about theology or discussing it, but I am after experience and real understanding, not theories and opinions.

Looking to forward to what I find and who I meet here.

Hi; If God is undefinable then the relationship may be undefinable because it might be tailored specifically for you in that you wouldn't be looking for God unless you needed something more in your life and so what we receive may not be a uniform experience.

My mistake, that was an opinionated theory.

Interesting questions. Have you made much of a study of mysticism?

Welcome to the forums!

I did not believe I was asking any question, but rather making statements I thought meaningful to introducing myself here.

I have some small exposure to mysticism, but to be frank and not meaning to be rude, I am not really into any 'ism'. Far to many of them.
