Hello Y'all Woodrow from Islamic Board

Hi,

Why does a Muslim living in North Dakota have a Texas accent? One day I will probably tell.

I was referred here by Katspur. I enjoy peaceful quiet discussions about religions. Katspur suggested that I may like it here. To be honest I will probably lurk more than I post. I am spread quite thin on some forums I am an administrator on. But I do enjoy and learn from the views of all people. I strongly believe people need not always agree to live in peace.

Peace,

Woodrow LI

I'm fairly fluent in the Darija Dialect and the Qur'anic, but I am at a loss when it comes to The Saudi, Yemeni, Syriac and Egyptian dialects. However the Written Arabic is pretty much the same world wide so depending on what script is being used I can probably help with written questions. There are 7 major scripts in use world wide. I'm most familiar with the Naskh and Thuluth Naskh is the most common and used in most Arabic Language newspapers worldwide, the thuluth is usually only used for the Qur'an

It seems every time I leave Texas,I end up going back.

At one time I lived in the Sahara (southern part of algeria) for nearly a year. I also love the desert.

Lubbock is quite nice also, never lived there put passed through a number of times. Up here in ND, it is similar to desert life, just have to make believe the snow is sand.
