Go ahead and ask your questions. Everyone here is quite use to hard questions, although they sometimes run from them. i.e. they often go silent. When you get into a good debate with someone and they suddenly stop responding, you can be pretty certain you've backed them into an uncomfortable corner. It's a common tactic around here.
