Hello all, I'm new to this forum. So, a bit of background info: I'm 18, university student, going into 2nd year this september. I was initially going for double major bio and math, however, my parents hated that idea (the math part). So, I wanted to go for double major bio and chem but after doing a class in psychology, I loved it, so double major bio and psych. I hope to go into the medical field, surgeon, psychiatrist, family doctor ... point is, I'm not too sure on that right now.
Anyways, as this is a religious forum, I'm an atheist. For anyone who wonders, yes I do believe in evolution (yes it does have its flaws). I'm very open-minded about religion and about most things. I have rules that I live by and one of them is to not force unwilling people to believe. I find it pointless as if they want to believe, they have to be willing. So, to others, regardless of what the religion/belief is, don't attempt to "convert" me and I'll show the same respect.

Why change your major for your parents?? Unless you agreed with them that is...
