I find this very sad. However, if you really don't want to hang out with non christians, then don't accept their friendship request. It's really quite simple and there is no need to create a thread about it to make it even more critical and divisive.
I dunno, if he wants to be a snob, best that he's upfront about it.

Besides that, putting in the debates section opened it up to open debate, too.

Call me a good samaritan-"Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will." -2 Tim 2:26
You would have shunned the Good Samaritan, and you dare to claim the title?

It's nothing personal, in fact there are some so-called "christians" I can think of who I wouldn't have as friends either..;)

Well there are rules here on this forum that you can't preach, so you probably don't need to be here if that was all you wanted to do.

Sorry if you're upset by the Jesus quotes-
Jesus said:-"Whoever's ashamed of me and my words,I'll be ashamed of him" (Mark 8:38 )

I think it's interesting that you say you're sorry for the Jesus quotes then go ahead and quote another one. No I am not upset by Jesus quotes. What I find sad is that you think you're better than others in humanity. That's all.

Waymarker is new here. This thread would have been better in a non-debate forum for Christians. I don't begrudge him his prejudices, especially when he is being so open and honest about them. He quoted Donald Trump's advice "If you hang around with losers, you become a loser". I'm not so sure that Trump would choose to hang around with Waymarker, but maybe he and Trump are soulmates of a sort. ;)

Is Waymarker's presence here not a method of "hanging around" with us? If so, should we take that as a compliment? :thud:

Christianity's not an exclusive Winners club, anybody can join if they shape up-
"Who is it that beats the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God" (1 John 5:5)

Let's look closer at 2Timothy chapter 2. According to verse 23 you arent supposed to be in an arguement that is "foolish and stupid" yet here we all are making arguements based on our own opinions about things ,that have been debated since the beginning of speech, that come from an egocentric need to be right. If we believe that our opinion is the only right one and we should exclude other groups just because of their opinions then our arguements really are foolish and stupid because they go nowhere. That's just talking to hear yourself talk.

Ask the hungry homeless guy who I gave £20 (30 US dollars) to on Good Friday whether I refused to help him..;)
Minor, self-serving acts of charity do nothing to compensate for the fact that, like the priest, etc. in the story, you shun those who do not believe as you do. Christ broke bread with tax collectors and whores, and shunned elitists.

That behavior speaks well for you, as long as you did not do it out of religious motives, but a sincere desire to help him out. If you did it just to curry favor with God, he might not see it as a genuinely charitable act when he goes to add up your score on Judgment Day.

we are all Humans with a unique opinion and should transcend boundaries not arbitrarily make more because some text says you should. Why does it say that?

Right, but I raised an impoertant valid point for debate about whether we should befriend Jesus-rejecters, this is a debate forum after all..:)
Like I said, if we accept a Satanists friendship request, that'd make him and his mates boast that we approve of their activities wouldn't it?

They couldn't care less about your approval. Your assumption that they seek it is merely yet another sign of your ego.
