Heya :D

Nimrauko

Defender Of Judaism
Hey guys.

Im Shlomo, and I go by the Pross Shlomo Yehudim. Shlomo is hebrew for Solomon, and Yehudim is a hebrew word for Jew. I am passionate about my faith, but I remain open minded about all faiths. I run a Religious Forum which I called the Religious Forums (Before I found this place !) in which I promote religious tolerance. I love religion and spend a majority of my time in Religious themed Forums spreading Knowledge and Understanding in the hopes peace and healing can occur between certain faiths.

If you look at my profile here I put in the religion part: Judaism (OrthoReform). Its a term I just use to describe my belief. I am Jewish and attend a Reform synagogue. The Reform movement is close to what I believe. My family is Orthodox and I call myself Reform with an Orthodox lean. The main reason is, the Reform movement does not see Halakah (Jewish Law) as binding and focus on Tikun Olam (Repairing the world). Orthodox see Halakah as binding and stick to Jewish Law ridgidly. I agree with the Orthodox on that end. Halakah is binding because G-d said so.

Anyways I have rambled :) I am an open book, so if you have a question just ask :)
