I'm Jadamas, and lately I've been doubting my faith.
English is not my native language, so please don't make fun of my grammar :)

In reading what you written so far, your English grammar is better than many whose first language is English.

I believe in God but I don't practice any religion.

I see nothing wrong with this. There are many that do not.

I've been thought issues in my personal and professional lives in the last past months, and for some reason these issues made me think about God, "life after life", and about my life and my death.
I sometimes get extremely anxious while thinking about death, I had this kind of feeling when I was a kid, but not as an adult.

I'm spending hours every day reading books, websites, and watching videos in order to find reasons to believe and stop with these doubts.

I'm not a "forum guy", but I thought maybe you could give me some advice.

Thank you all

There are many varying views about what happens after our bodies and minds dies. Uncertainty, in my opinion, is the catalyst for fear and anxiety when it comes to thinking about death. I won't preach about my personal views here; the only advice I will give is to continue your research and meditate on what you've learned until you find a view that gives you solace (or perhaps one may find you).

Greetings and salutations, by the way.

Just to be sure @SalixIncendium , did you mean "Uncertainty" ?
Thank you

Yes. It was a typo. Nice catch.

See, you're doing better with English grammar than even me! :D

Thank you @SalixIncendium
Indeed, I'm looking for answers and I want, I need to continue my research.

The quantity of different beliefs, the fact that so many and different beliefs coexist makes me wonder.

Is it possible that, in some way several belief systems are right or partially right (maybe most of them, or all of them who knows) ?
I mean, many belief systems have similarities so can we imagine a "convergence" to a unique truth?
Another scenario would be to have several truths.
Or maybe all belief systems are wrong or partially wrong and "we know nothing".

I think the similarities we see in beliefs systems are a result of one system modeling itself on that of another that was already in place, incorporating their own interpretations based on their own cultural needs. As new belief systems continue to be introduced, or as adherents of one belief structure incorporate individual interpretations and practices, I see more of a divergence from truth rather than a convergence to.
