SAC,

I've already said 'hi' in reply to the question you posted; it would help us a bit if you tell us about yourself.:)

I hope that all we show you will not be foolishness. You're off to a good start with your first thread. Welcome to Religious Forums.

I'm not too sure what there is to say about myself. I live in Edinburgh, but am an American by birth. I think that I came here sight-seeing about a year ago, and didn't have the heart to leave.

I tend to make what little money I have through writing. Though, I suppose my true passion is in learning all I can about everything I know nothing about. Which is probably why I'm here.

Thanks for all the welcomes!

You're welcome; I don't blame you for liking Edinburgh - it's a lovely city although I haven't been there for a number of years:eek: What sort of writing do you do?

"I suppose my true passion is in learning all I can about everything I know nothing about."

I hope you're ready for a long life; with luck, I may find out a few things, but that has also been a wish of mine - now, at 56, I realize I haven't got anything like enough time to acheive that ! Good luck though.:)

I would definitely enjoy a long life! Though, I guess there are lots of things to be learned only through death as well. Did I mention that I am an unfailing optimist? :)
As for my writing, I mostly do freelance articles for different magazines. Nothing too exciting.

The cold didn't drive you off?

Sounds neat to me. There are a couple of fine writers here. Notably Mr. Spinkles, and Deut. 32.8 (who secretly invented the English language...probably).

Freelance articles aren't boring...I would love to do that for a living, I really would.

Welcome to the forums! I hope you have a great time here :)
