Welcome to RF, Noaidi. You will meet all sorts of folks here. I'm sure you would feel at home. Personally, I feel it’s only the grown ups (in these matters) who are able to feel a deep spiritual connection with Nature without needing to be under the tutelage of God.

Peacewise: Thanks for the definitions. Basically what I am saying is that I don't believe in gods, but I have pagan sympathies regarding my views on Nature. I don't go down the whole nature-spirits / gods route, but I do honour the land, the seasons and am grateful for what Nature provides for us.
Does anyone know of any discussions on this? There are quite a number of threads going on here and,being only a few hours into my membership, I haven't had time to look into them all.

Yes, that's a good way of looking at it. Gods / goddesses are, to me, archetypal representatives of mountains, rivers, trees. I honour the physical, not the metaphysical, but I can see the value in acknowledging the personifications of the physical. Makes it easier for us humans to identify with if we put a "human" face to things.

Welcome to RF! I don't know what to tell you about your faith, except that I wouldn't worry about a label. Poke around a bit and the right one is sure to stick to you. If you look in our faith based directories, most have a "Sticky" with a brief overview of the common views found under that faith. I almost want to say your beliefs may fall closer to Native American beliefs than Pagan, but I could be off base with that one totally so don't hold me to it!
My faith falls under Paganism, and I am very God and Goddess oriented so it is hard for me to picture a Pagan that does not believe in Gods. That doesn't, however, mean it is not possible.
