Hindus, Pagans, Magicians: Rituals against "negative influences"

Sirona

Dear friends,

do you have some quick and simple rituals helping oneself to spiritually defend against "negative influences" ("black magic")? Several times I read that in Hinduism the color black was best for such purposes, and that a good choice to worship would be the goddess Kali, but to be honest, I'm not well with this concept, as it feels like "fighting fire with fire" to me. Therefore, I am looking for simpler and safer suggestions.

To make it clear, I do not believe that people can levitate or something like that, but I am well aware that rituals can have an actual (positive or negative) effect on the mind.

It's not a ritual but a 'sa' amulet is a Kemetic protective amulet,

There are a wide variety of Gnostic rituals involving immersion in clean, flowing water meant to cleanse oneself of all spiritual pollution. The Mandaens, for instance, perform a masbuta every Sunday.

There is a way to put up a auric bubble around yourself. I do it before going to places where I expect negativity, although that's rare these days.

Black candles actually are good at absorbing negative influences, imo. I usually say a protection spell or affirmation, and light a black candle and focus on dissapating that energy into the earth.

Sound cleansing. I use that to cleanse me and the room of negativity
I'll like to add I made a sound cleansing/protection device out of a Pringles jar and a few other items I had lying around... Don't know if it works I haven't used it much tho cuz I visited my dad and left the darn sucker there along with a few items off my altar to Lucifer... But im just saying you don't need anything fancy for sound cleansing like a bell with that intention could work and there are sound files on youtube don't know if they do anything but they are great for mediation at least...

Yeah I have a small brass bell I use for sound cleansing. But a plastic bottle with some rocks or dry beans works as well.

You can either use mirror magick and reflect it back, or you can neutralize it. I would suggest neutralizing it instead of having it bounce back and forth.

In Tibetan Buddhism, black magick is transforming hatred into compassion (including skillful action.) You have to clear your own mind of any festering hatred first so you can be clear-minded enough to find a skillful solution that is suitable for the given situation.

Have you tried chanting? I've found that can be an effective way of changing one's mindset, and environment.

I have more complex purgation rituals for more powerful forces but this little one covers quite a bit.
