Well, one does not require a mediator when one goes to his/her mother. Mother always takes care of the children. And yes, one can approach Shiva through Mother Parvati very effectively. :) (Ma Pabati and Mahadev Baba, as my two year old grandson calls them. He would come to me, ask me to take him in my lap, and then he would request for videos of Mahadev Baba, Gannu Bhaiyya (Ganesha), or Flying Hanuman).

I still don't understand what that blue title means.

The Hindu DIR has traditionally been treated with a little bit more leniency because of the vastly different interpretations of what Hinduism is.

From my time away from the forum, it seems like a few people abused the DIR as a green. Can anyone bring me up to speed on how bad it got and why? No names, of course, as that's against the rules. :)

I think it means that it's more moderated or something, so that some people who are not Hindu (cough...CC from NYC...cough) can't troll the DIR forum with off-topic posts

Lol

Thanks for the explanation :). I didn't really notice things getting bad, but then again I don't frequent this site like I once did.
