If a specific group’s behavior is the leading reason a horrible and nasty disease is spreading throughout our country, let them be called out for their reckless and irresponsible choices, and the far reaching consequences they’ve brought about.

Well, that would be preventive medicine and we wouldn't want to hurt Big Pharma's profits (specifically Gilead, which refuses to let its HIV meds go out of patent or allow generics). Plus, that would be **** shaming and that's the most harmful thing of all.

Not sure you understand the meaning of rationalizing

This, has nothing to do with demonize (if they think that, then that demon is in their head, never in mine...I'm not like that)

I just use common sense and discrimination (the other meaning, using your "God" given faculty to think and reason)

Simple illustration:
IF you socialize a lot
AND your immunesystem is compromized
AND you don't vaccinate against Covid
(or any other dangerous virus)
THEN you might get Covid (virus) easier
(unless God protects you)

Exactly the same as what I described with HIV/AIDS

And that's all behavior, social behavior even, because sex is a social act in human society, much as we try to reduce it to just pleasure

This assumes the frequency per capita in a group means they are overall more likely to do that rather than it having other factors that are not specific to their type of sex (because most forms of sexual activity are not exclusive to one orientation, beyond a few very particular ones). It's little different than suggesting that the numbers somehow mean that because more black people per capita commit crimes that it's a black community issue exclusively

You think the stigma against gay people, even to this day, might have something to do with why there is more of that kind of behavior to keep it hidden for fear of ostracism?

Not unlike a reasoning that connects the higher frequency of trans youth of suicide attempts to that same stigma against them that makes them internalize hatred and engage in self harm that could then lead to suicide attempts
