Holes in Darwin's Theory?

idea

Question Everything
Since "artificial selection" is nothing more than another term for selective breeding, who does the ID crowd claim is doing the selecting?

Although ID has been adopted by the creationist crowd, it is not a purely religious concept. Not God-Designed, just "intelligence-designed". "Artificial selection" is another way to say "ID" without association with Christian fundamentalists.

But yes, call it artificially selected, or intelligently designed - call it what you will, let's talk about the entity that does the selecting - let's talk about what intelligence is, let's talk about the difference between what is alive, and what is not alive - what causes something to become self-aware, what provides something the ability to think and act for itself, instead of just eroding away in the wind. What makes something want to survive?

Are you going to answer my pretty straight forward question?

Selective breeding is where someone selects which two are going to produce offspring.
Now if ID is as you say merely selective breeding, then who is the proposed selector?

Most, if not all, those who worked or contributed to the Discovery Institute are fundamentalist (Christian) creationists, trying to impersonate as scientists, and pervert science with pseudoscience ID. The Discovery Institute is also largely funded by Christian groups.

ID is nothing more than creationists in guise. And Designer is the same thing as Creator or God.

Evidences of their agenda are found, more specifically in the Wedge Strategy.

Intelligent Design has nothing to do with selective breeding, if that's what you mean by "intelligence-designed". Their meaning of Intelligent Design is different to yours, if this is true.

Actually ID was created by creationsts as a revamped re-worked attempt to get their religious dogma in the science classrooms. It was the exact same group that proposed ID that had their creationist proposal shut down the year or two prior.
