Horton Hears a Who & Religion

It's obvious Horton Hears a Who has religious or philosophical background in it, what do you think of it?

Basically, what I got out of it is that there are bigger people outside Earth, and there are bigger people outside the Earth that contains Earth, etc. and there are also smaller people inside Earth and even smaller inside that smaller Earth, etc.

I think it is interesting, but don't believe it... It felt awkward buying that movie around my friends, felt like I was acting like a 7 years old -shy-

On another note, a lot of movies posses some type of metaphysical meaning behind...or at least to the viewer.

As for Horton, maybe it's not God-based or whatever....
Maybe it's just exemplifying layers of existence or a responsibility to the 'lower' folks, so to speak,
Or duty to the environment, which we have vast impact on, etc....

And then on the flip side, not to be God-based either, maybe it's just saying that there are bigger things/ideas/goals than ourselves that we might not know or understand.

I always got that feeling too, Sum, with Horton Hears a Who. Who's to say we aren't the Who's on some flower on some Horton's world? It's just an expansion of the effects of Copernicus' bombshell: We aren't the center of the universe.

It may not be about what's "out there", as in bigger than us, but about what's "in here", what's inside of us. A bit mystical, I know, but it does make you think.
