It occurred to me that it isn't fair how we look, so when we say beauty is in the mind of the beholder, that we can be beautiful on the inside, do we really mean it. I mean life isn't fair anyway given all the variables we can luck out on in this life, or not.
But say there is a hereafter, existence would be hard to accept if it was suddenly fair. Everyone would be just as beautiful or whatever. What if we could project a physical appearance of our own design? Gender would be irrelevant except maybe for the newly reborn--but that wouldn't last long when it became obvious what was possible. And then consider all the other aspects of existence we could experiment with.
I'm not sure about the breadth or depth of the subject I'm bringing up here, so I'll throw it out there for youse all to crush or expand on or let wither on the vine, as you will.
