God prohibits many things: wearing certain fabric, second marriages, shaving your beard, entering the temple with a limp, eating oysters, grabbing the testicles of your husband's wrestling opponent, making statues. He never prohibits lesbianism. Never. Not once. It's not God, and not the Bible. It's you.

Are you or have you ever been gay? How do you know that they do not love?

I can tell you that I have been in love with women I have dated. I spoke to them for hours on the phone in the same giggly-goofy-romantic manner in the "honeymoon" phase of the relationship as I would with men I dated. And I truly DID love, as I still have that capacity to do so.

My desire to be with a woman is for companionship, love, depth, romance and trust.

So, there, now you know 5 gay people, and it's very easy for me to talk about it. Even to bigots who won't listen.
