How can any true Christian accept an Appointing of a gay bishop ?

I get it. Because I am an agnostic that does not embrace your particular myth, you simply dismiss the questions without actually answering them.

Not a problem. Those questions were written with the intent of helping you learn to truly question why you believe as you do. The fact that you don't have the strength to ask yourself those questions tells me more than you can possibly fathom.

Oh - and for what it's worth, I really couldn't care less about your views either. I was only trying to help you learn to think.

thanks matie - but trust there is nothing you could teach me - you clearly choose to be blind to the truth - thanks but no thanks

its not worth my typing to answer your primitive question - that's why

maybe you should read the bible and see God judges homosexual as sin not me -i do feel love for the - so what are you say in a should say nothing when a leader of the church is living in sin - come you cant be that naive

My posts have clearly showed you have very poor exergesis skills. And you pick and choose what you see as sin. Homosexuality is real easy for straight people to be upset about. It does not apply to them.

You still remain silent on issues that I have brought up here they are one more time:

-Is sex for recreation a sin in or out of marriage.
-Is self defense a sin?
-Is accumulating wealth a sin?
-Why do you pick and choose sin the way you do?

I don't know what you are like off line. On line I have not seen much love.

i do have know about 4 gay people but they dont want to talk about - because its hard to deal with - i dont believe gays can be in love , they think it is love - but it is lust - very different a fabrication of love by the devil - imo - i just hate sin - more when people try to pretend its not sin and twist the word of God

An excellent, textbook example of bigotry and ignorance.

You do yourself proud.

i am glad i amuse you its always nice to make someone laugh hey
At least you are not a total waste of skin...

- waht i find really funny is your total lack of knowledge of Christianity
Oh, I know and understand loads about Christianity.
Your particular version of it is another story, however.

- i find it hilarious - but i will answer your question of coures God is exempt from sin - here is the defention - Definitions of sin on the Web:

estrangement from god
an act that is regarded by theologians as a transgression of God's will
commit a sin; violate a law of God or a moral law
the 21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet
drop the ball: commit a faux pas or a fault or make a serious mistake; "I blundered during the job interview"
violent and excited activity; "they began to fight like sin"
rotflmao

God sets the stranded for sin - sin is falling short of Gods stranded the stander we strive to achieve as chrisitans
Exactly.
I wonder why you think that everyone is to be a Christian?
I am most definitely not a Christian.
And to be perfectly honest, it is "Christians" like you that keep me far far away from it.

- seriously do you know anything about Christianity
Your version of Christianity is an admitted mystery.

- your statement - So you are claiming that god is exempt from his own law? - shows you know very little - or nothing at all -imo
Where in the Bible does god make the claim he is exempt from his own laws?

You're quite welcome. And I can honestly say that, by now, I think you have clearly demonstrated that you are incapable of learning.

Well, let's be honest with each other. What you really mean to say is that I choose to be blind to your version of truth.

While we're being honest, why don't you just say that you don't have the courage to ask yourself those questions - much less face the answers.

Matey.

Why do you think they don't want to talk to about it??
Because of the HATE that they get because of it
We walk down the street, holding hands with someone and we get shouted at with the most hateful, rude comments you could ever imagine
And these are CHRISTIANS
When it comes to homosexuaity, non-Christians know much better about how to treat people
If you're gonna follow the bible literally, then listen to where God says not to hate others
Because if you do that, then we're BOTH sinners

I read it cover to cover, both volumes. God prohibits many things: wearing certain fabric, second marriages, shaving your beard, entering the temple with a limp, eating oysters, grabbing the testicles of your husband's wrestling opponent, making statues. He never prohibits lesbianism. Never. Not once. It's not God, and not the Bible. It's you.

btw, have you shaved your beard?

Do you listen to Willie Nelson?

I get the feeling that you don't even know who he is.

Let me clear about what disgusting bigotry you're spewing here. What you're saying is that two people may think they love each other, they may care for each other, devote their lives to each other, and even die for one another, but you know better--you know it's just lust. Is that the disgusting slander you're selling?

Absolutely false. An unfair statement, at best.

Are you or have you ever been gay? How do you know that they do not love?

I can tell you that I have been in love with women I have dated. I spoke to them for hours on the phone in the same giggly-goofy-romantic manner in the "honeymoon" phase of the relationship as I would with men I dated. And I truly DID love, as I still have that capacity to do so.

My desire to be with a woman is for companionship, love, depth, romance and trust.

So, there, now you know 5 gay people, and it's very easy for me to talk about it. Even to bigots who won't listen. ;)
