How dangerous is the Ouija Board?

a) As dangerous as Monopoly
b) As dangerous as a loaded gun (spiritually)
c) Probably not dangerous
d) What a fun game! :)

I heard that too as a kid. I come from the kind of extended family that "don't believe in evilooshun", votes Republican because "its what Jesus would do", and thinks Harry Potter promotes Satanism. I was told that Ouija boards lead to demonic possession. Luckily I was encouraged to ask questions and ultimately learned the value of critical thinking.

B. It's pretty much as dangerous as loaded gun spiritually. Use of the Ouija Board is a form of the Occult. From what I understand, some people who used to the Ouija Board have ended up with demonic possession. I also understand that using the Ouija Board is somehow a form of divination and possibly a form of calling upon evil spirits.

And to think it was originally a parlor game during the Spiritualist craze of the 1800s.
