I was on a certain self-help forum and became interested in some of the off-topic religion discussions. One Christian member sent me an article from a certain Christian website which also had a forum. I signed up to that forum but quickly became bored with lack of activity and what I deemed to be unfair moderation towards non-Christian members. So I started googling something like "religious forum" or "religion forum" and found RF among some other Christian forums. I was immediately impressed with the wide range of DIRs and sub-DIRs, as well as the general design of the site and decided to stick around.

And you?

I started out writing in Physics Forums in 2004, back when discussion forums were new and many were connected to universities. The moderators were educators, who were more open to new ideas. Trolling used to mean, trolling like in fishing, where you drag a net or hook, to catch fish. My controversial ideas were often a good lure for trolling for members, and brought new people into the forum.

The definition of troll was changed a few years later, to mean someone not with the program, instead of the thought provoking bait used to lure members and start discussions. The change is when politics and censorship became more of a problem; tattle tale to moderators.

I got burnt out with physics, so I then went to various science forums, so I could present others ideas beyond just physics. These forums became more political, with the caretakers of the traditions, not as open to discussing new ideas, even in the alternate theory sections, due to a bias against me. This bias was connected to defending a spiritual people, from the jackals who would gang up on such people. The lion could kill the jackals, but would make political enemies who would nag the staff.

My last science forum was was connected to Naked Science out of Oxford University. This started out very well being connected to the university and the TV program, I trying not to be too controversial. But I would defend the spiritual people, and not buy into Left wing propaganda, making me a political hot potato that eventually put a target on my back.

I then moved to the Political forums; Debate Politics, since I figured politics is about opinions and that was often my political Achilles heal. This started out was fine, until I started to pick apart the Russian Collusion scam, near the beginning of the con job. I was censored and blackballed from a political forum, for speaking truth, since it was run by Leftists who could not fight back without cheating and censorship.

From there I found the Religious Forums with the hope that religious people were polite and more open compared to Atheist science or Lefty politics. This has been the case.

I still stay alone, mostly due to the impact of years of fighting, harassment and abuse, based on company politics. The most adult and free forums appear to be connected to religion, since they are secure enough to welcome all opinions. There is also enough variety of subjects for me to interface my newest ideas and my more seasoned ideas.
