How did you meet your best friend?

I don't remember how I met mine as I was only about four at the time, but I am interested in how you came to know yours?

She was sitting in my seat on the bus. I was in grade 6 and she was in 6 plus (which was like this optional year of french school you could take after grade 6 and before grade 7). Being the bully I was, I agressively told her it was my seat and threatened her if she didn't get out of it. She stood her ground and told me she wouldn't move and I instantly liked her. She stood up to me and no one ever stood up to me before, I had always just got what I wanted because people were scared of me, but she didn't give in and it made me instantly respect her tons and we became best friends not long after. We've been friends for almost 13 years now.

I honestly don't remember. I know I first really met her when we had a class together in 7th grade, but after looking at a picture in her house I realized she had been on the baton team I was in when I was about 8, so odds are we met when we were younger at some point.

Neither of us can remember how we met, but it doesn't really matter to us. She's been my best friend for almost 6 years and came to stay with me while my family was on vacation and I was recovering from surgery. She's a pervert, loud, points out the painfully obvious without tact, and is one of the sweetest people I know. She was also the first girl I had a crush on.

Back in 3rd grade. I noticed that he had installed Command and Conquer: Red Alert on a computer in the lab. We played. We got in trouble. No recess. Luckily for us, study hall was in the lab. More C&C for us.

Candidates are my first fiancée, whom I met in a high school Christian community, my ex-wife, whom I met at a student hotel (don't know how to translate that) party, a Norwegian guy whom I encountered in University Religious studies class, my two sisters and their hubbies, and a Chinese woman, almost my age, who attented second semester Chinese when I took it a few years ago. Mom and my older sis, who have met her, have told me to go slowly, not to scare her off... Come what may, we hope to take 3rd semester Chinese together.

My best friend (who died over thirty years ago) was the father of a girl friend of mine - we remaind friends long after I broke up with his daughter; I miss him more than I do her...........

I met one of my best friends back when we was either in Kindergarden or 1st grade, about 12 or 13 years ago. Been so long I don't remember how we met. My other best friend I met because his dad and my dad were good friends. I was in 4th grade, he was 2 years behind me. We met at some cook-out his dad held.We've been friends for about 9 years.

I don't really have a best friend My best friend growing up I met on the bus on the first day of kindergarden. There were no empty seats and I didn't know where to sit, so I just started crying in the middle of the aisle. I cried easily when I was little. My neighbour, who was about four years older than me came to the rescue and suggested I sit with this nice girl. We became friends almost instantly. We're still friends now, but we're not nearly as close as we once were.

i met my best friend on-line about five years ago. we corresponded for a long time via e-mail, and only recently met each other face-to-face. what a meeting!

She was new to our school, and she just sort of started sitting at my table at lunch, because one of my other buddies invited her. Her and I ended up in the same class the next year, and the year after, and the other girl we were originally friends with just sort of fell away.

I'm inbetween best friends at the moment. Had a nasty experience with my last one involving him nicking my girlfriend, refusing to talk to me for months and then deciding that he hated me and stuffing meat in my mouth because I am vegetarian . Hopefully I'll have better luck next time.
