I'm inbetween best friends at the moment. Had a nasty experience with my last one involving him nicking my girlfriend, refusing to talk to me for months and then deciding that he hated me and stuffing meat in my mouth because I am vegetarian :(. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time.
I could be your friend! :D Lol, I'm so pathetic.

My best friend is three years younger than I am. And although I can't remember the day we met , I know she's always been there. I hated her for the first 16 years of my life, and yet she always seemed to look up to me. I was mean to her and never respected anything she said or did. I made fun of her every chance I had and without fail she was the one I heard bragging in the school yard about something I had done. I was her Hero and I never really knew the true meaning of that word until I realized that she's mine. She's my little sister "Jodie" and I'm so glad she's my best friend. I love her lots!

We went to pre-school together. One day there was a special "parent's day" or something. Our moms were sitting next to each other and chatting a little bit. I refused to sit on my mom's lap, (because I was a big girl), and so when my friend's mom had to run to the bathroom, she (Valerie), climed into my mom's lap herself!

My friend, I already count you as one :).

*quickly scans some of Unedited's posts* You hide your patheticness well :). I get on far better with girls than I do with guys at any rate :D.

I've never quite figured out why some people get on with the opposite sex better. I guess I'm just not a man's man :). Glad I'm not though because there are some wonderful ladies out there!

It was at a Cub Scout "Space Regatta" for the Pack where I was a Cub Master. I had covered myself in blue paint, dyed my hair blue and had made a "space suit" out of a Kyvex jump suit (used for painting). The day was hot and the sweat created these "sweat blisters" under the paint wihich made the effect even more surrealistic.

Dan was there with his son, and I recruited him to help judge one of the "space tracks". Soon after, he was helping me run the Pack and he and I have done a LOT of training together over the years. I keep telling everyone that his address is [email protected] :D Go ahead. It works.

With having moved 29 times, I feel bad to announce that I've never formed a friendship that's lasted for longer than five years after I've moved away. All my best friends are on this forum. (I'd add myself into the 'pathetic' category, but I then I remember of what I think of you guys, and consider myself very, very lucky!)

I was doing work on a heavy bag and Kevin came in and introduced himself. He was looking for a sparring partner and I was too so we traded numbers in 1994 and have been best friends since.

Come to think of it...my best girl friend that I still talk to, we met when she knocked on my door to tell me there were prowlers around (bad neighborhood) and she was worried about me. I was living alone. She also said I looked a lot like her daughter who ran off.

We used to live right across from each other, and she became like a mom to me, and I've tried to be like a daughter to her, but we're also good friends. She just has the most beautiful soul.
