My wife's story and mine is quite simple.... We met online. Back in the day, in 2012, we were both members of POF, also known as Plenty of Fish.
Back in the day, it used to be a pretty decent website that is now complete garbage evidently. Not that it matters in my case I suppose, given that I'm married. I had been in several long term relationships before this, some of them lasting years. Unfortunately, most people besides her that I have dated were pretty bad choices to date and only found out after I was in too deep with them.
In 2013, I knew she was the one. I bought a ring and proposed to her around the end of 2013. We got married in October 2014. Had our first and only child in 2018. In 2020, we bought a house together, which was nice because it was a dream I had for years that I never thought would come true. This coming October will be our 10th wedding anniversary. I am not sure how she has put up with me this long. Lol.

Hmm....welp, my wife's younger sister was dating a close friend of mine.
So I got to know my now sister-in-law pretty well.
Then her brother came and started playing in our basketball team, as well as going to TAFE (like, higher ed, but lower level than Uni) with two of my other mates. We weren't especially close, but we hung out a lot because of it.
The third of the three kids I met was my (now) wife, and I knew her for almost a year before we started dating I guess.
We were young at the time (I had just turned 21, she was 18) and almost 30 years later we have three kids, etc.
