I suggest joining some dating websites and looking at the men that are out there in your age bracket since running into someone that is a good match in ordinary social situations is highly unlikely.I am looking to find a good man that I can settle down with and live my life with. My brother in law is using dating websites without much luck. I don't know of anyone who has met a suitable partner through one. They may work but i just cannot say.
Art galleries and museums are worth thinking about or any such place, hobby clubs, social events etc for which you have an interest. The people there will usually have a similar interest.
Jogging in the park. I know a couple of people who have met their future partners there.
A gym, has health benefits too
The "in" coffee shop in your area... Visit regularly. Buy a prospect (so cold) his favourite drink.
I know someone who found their life partner while looking in the supermarket freezers. No. she didn't find him in the freezer . He was also checking out the contents. Hmm, nice she thought and so offered advice on the best ready meals.
If you are waiting for an appointment and a nice guy is also why not strike up a conversation.

Are you in a singles' group in church? That's one way. Meeting one through friends is good. I met my husband in the Air Force. Women have their pick of guys in the military. It's pretty sweet!
